TPC- Everything you need to know!
So we’re sure by now that you’ve heard that the Ticketing Professionals conference is this week! With this being such a large conference it's easy to get overwhelmed by the details, with over 500 ticketing professionals, 70 speakers and 50 sessions! If you're at all confused about any of the details, we’re about to clear up everything that you need to know!
There's going to be so many sessions and speakers it's hard to choose which ones to go to, so we thought we’d share some of our favourite sessions with you!
So of course there's Ticketsolve’s two sessions, Nick Stevenson's session on the 17th of March at 15:40pm in hall 5 ‘with many uncertainties and unknowns, planning at the moment can feel overwhelming. Nick will show you how you can push your organisation’s individual objectives to plan a clear roadmap for the next six months and most importantly, to track progress and measure results.’ Lucy Costelloe's session on the 18th of March at 13:30pm in hall 4 ‘What type of place would the world be if your organisation vanished tomorrow? Data provides organisations with primary metrics around monitoring ‘success’ but the information that your team works aimlessly to capture has an augmented role in understanding and measuring the value of your offering.’
There's also some discussion panels for those of you who like to learn and voice your opinion at the same time. Another session that caught our eye was the closing session with Bala McAlinn titled ‘Parting is such sweet sorrow’
Being one of the largest ticketing conferences in the UK it may be easy to get lost in the sea of booths and speaker sessions so we thought we could give you a rough idea of how to find the Ticketsolves booth! You can find us in stand number 18 on the corner next to Stay22. So if you're going to be attending the ticketing professionals conference, don't forget or hesitate to come over and say hi and you never know, you might even get a little prize or two! We can't wait to meet you.
We can't wait to finally reconnect with our partners, friends and members of the ticketsolve community, we’ve missed meeting in person so much and we can't wait to see you all! Seeing as TPC 2022 is being hosted in Birmingham we thought some fun facts about the beautiful host city would be nice to share!
- Apart from London, Birmingham is home to more Michelin-starred restaurants than anywhere else in the UK.
- Another surprising fact is how green Birmingham is. With more than 600 parks covering 8,000 acres, Birmingham is one of the UK’s greenest cities and has more open space than Paris.
- It is a little-known fact that J.R. Tolkien grew up in and around Birmingham from the age of four and it was the city landscape and surrounding countryside that provided some of the inspiration for sagas such as The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.
