Socially Distanced Seating: Rule of Six and More

Socially distanced seating has been a hot topic these last few months. No surprise there (we have a great whitepaper that covers a lot of the ins and outs of socially distanced seating), but the subject is rearing its head again as many arts organisations get to grips with The Rule of Six and other potential measures.

So we're going to take a look again at how these seating plans can work and how Ticketsolve can help.

With new - and what feels like ever-changing - restrictions and different rules for different regions, we wanted to touch on socially distanced seating again. Our whitepaper outlines how you can handle socially distanced seating in Ticketsolve you can also get more advice from Baker Richards who have offered some great insights into how to approach the issue.

Another area to consider is limiting the number of tickets that can be purchased in one transaction. If your venue needs to enforce the Rule of Six (or even lower), this Ticketsolve feature allows you to limit the numbers of tickets per transaction supporting bubbles of six.

If you are a Ticketsolve customer, login to Zendesk for a video and step by step article that will help you get started with this feature. And as always, we are always here to help if you need us.

Ultimately, what works for one venue may not work for another, but if you decide to do socially distanced seating, it is workable and a great way to get audiences back into your venue safely.
