RECHARGE 2024 RECAP: Innovation in Product Development
At RECHARGE London 2024, Chris Spring, Chief Product Officer at Ticketsolve, and Nick, our Head of Customer Success, delivered a forward-looking session packed with insights on Ticketsolve’s product development. For those who missed it, we’re summarising the key takeaways and exciting new features that were shared.
From Replatforming to Revolutionising
Ticketsolve has undergone a transformation over the past few years, following the release of The New Ticketsolve back in 2021. Replatforming was more than a technical update; it was a strategic move to prepare the platform for future growth. This has provided fertile ground for continued innovation, with a focus on delivering the best possible products and ensuring user success through outstanding support.
The Power of Automations
Automations are revolutionising how venues interact with their audiences. By streamlining repetitive tasks, Ticketsolve’s automation tools allow teams to focus on what really matters—creating meaningful connections with their customers. With features like tagging first-time customers (currently live), managing lapsed customers, and sending reminders for abandoned carts (coming soon), automations reduce manual work while driving engagement and revenue.
Nick shared the example of Regent Theatre Ipswich in our session, who have identified and targeted over 29,000 first-time customers using Ticketsolve automation features.
Elevating Experiences with Event Hub
Event Hub is another key feature currently in development, designed to elevate customer experiences and boost venue revenues. By allowing customers to pre-order drinks, meals, and snacks, Event Hub will provide a smoother, more enjoyable experience, while also increasing revenue for venues. For example, Theatr Hafren, one of our alpha testers, saw a 40% increase in revenue before the event started and a 25% boost in sales during the event by using this feature. Event Hub ensures a seamless experience from booking to post-event engagement, enhancing both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Managing Stock with Inventory
The upcoming Inventory Management feature simplifies stock control, making it easier for venues to manage merchandise, food, and other items across multiple events. Whether it’s tracking ice cream sales or managing limited pre-theatre dining spots, this feature will ensure that stock levels are always accurate, helping avoid overselling and keeps operations running smoothly.
Streamlining Operations with Projects and Inbox
The Projects and Inbox features in Ticketsolve will help teams stay organised and efficient. Projects is a flexible tool for managing tasks, whether for group bookings, fundraising campaigns, or daily operations. With customisable Kanban boards, teams will be able to easily track progress and ensure tasks move smoothly to completion.
The Inbox will serve as a notification hub, bringing all important updates into one place so nothing is missed. Together, these features will simplify task management, enhance collaboration, and keep teams on track—empowering venues to handle their operations with ease.
Data-Driven Decisions and Insights
Looking to the future, Ticketsolve is embarking on an ambitious project to enhance its data capabilities. By restructuring how data is organised within the platform, organisations will gain deeper insights into their audiences, enabling smarter decision-making and more effective marketing strategies. The goal is to provide actionable, data-driven insights that help organisations optimise their operations and better understand their customer base.
The Future is Here
Ticketsolve is focused on bringing together people and technology in a seamless way. With advanced automation tools, integrated insights, and a commitment to continued innovation, the platform is set to lead the way in creating unified, customer-centric experiences for arts and entertainment organisations. This is just the beginning—more exciting developments are on the horizon, and the future of Ticketsolve looks brighter than ever.
