Getting Back To Action: A New Framework For Arts Organisations and Recovery

Eight months down the road, opening and closings, streamed shows - it has been a journey. Now though we are definitely moving from pure survival into recovery. It is the perfect opportunity to get focused on setting goals and getting some serious results.

Our webinar this week presented the perfect framework for getting on the road to recovery: OKRs.

OKR is short for Objects and Key Results. The real driver of OKRs and what makes this framework so powerful is its ability to give laser focus on what matters but also what not to worry about.

In my experience understanding what is not important is often as important if not more important as it helps to sweep away things that are not moving you towards your goals.

We use OKRs in Ticketsolve and it has really helped to bring clarity for all levels, from organisational to teams to individuals.

Getting started with OKRs

You might be thinking that OKRs could not work in your organisation - and I will be honest I thought the same when I first looked into the framework. But I quickly realised how it helps to create quantifiable results and gives full visibility at all levels. It is great to be able to go back and really see what we as an organisation, department and individually have achieved.

I would encourage you to take a look at the webinar and learn more about what OKRs are, how they can help you and how to implement them as part of your road to recovery.

As always if you have any questions, we’d be happy to help you further.
