Meet Your Speaker

Mark brings a wealth of experience from both sides of the arts sector: as a venue leader and as a system specialist. His journey began at Ropetackle Arts Centre, where he progressed from Admin Assistant to Centre Manager (and where he is still a member of the board) and became an early advocate of Ticketsolve through hands-on use.

After a stint in Australia supporting major festivals like Sydney Fringe and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Mark returned to the UK and now works as a Support and Training Specialist at Ticketsolve. He’s passionate about empowering teams to work smarter, feel more in control, and make real progress.

When he’s not supporting venues, you’ll find him diving into a good book, playing guitar or bass, and reconnecting with the creative roots he developed during his fine arts degree.
