Q1 2026 at Ticketsolve: Reporting, Recurring Revenue, Automations and Audits

Written by Scott Rubbathan | Apr 30, 2026 9:59:59 AM

The first quarter of 2026 has been a busy one at Ticketsolve. Across thirteen weekly releases, we've shipped dozens of features, fixes, and improvements. And while we love a detailed changelog, you might not have time to read it in detail. So here's a break down of what we've focused on Q1, and what that means for the people running venues, festivals, and arts organisations day to day. If something catches your eye, the full road map and release notes are always there for the deeper dive.

Sharper Reporting and Reconciliation

If your finance team has ever lost an afternoon to reconciling payments across multiple references, this one's for you. Q1 brought a series of upgrades to how Ticketsolve handles financial reporting, including new columns and references that make it easier to separate show-level and event-level data, more flexibility in how long automated reports can run, and richer customer data available through Your Reports. We've also continued to grow Sales Dashboard 2.0, with more product types now feeding in. Our end goal for our customers is simple: less time wrangling spreadsheets, more time acting on what the numbers tell you.

Predictable Revenue, Seamless Renewals

Rolling Memberships: monthly or annual Benefit Products that renew automatically and can be cancelled by the customer at any time are now in alpha testing. For venues looking to build dependable, predictable income alongside ticket sales, this one's for you! Continuous payment authority is live now through Ticketsolve Pay, with Direct Debits following shortly.

Effortless Early Bird, Second Release, and Beyond

Auto Release Tickets has also moved into beta: a smarter way to handle staged releases like Early Bird, Second Release, and Full Price tiers. New allocations are released automatically as earlier ones sell out, with only the current active tier shown to customers online, encouraging earlier booking. In a nutshell: no more manual updates or carefully timed release schedules.

A Better Customer Journey, Online and at the Door

Every friction point removed is another conversion , and a happier customer at the door. Q1 has brought a steady stream of improvements to the customer-facing experience, from clearer wallet pass information for unseated tickets, to better wording at key moments in the seat selection flow. We've also continued to refine Ticketsolve Protect, with clearer terms at checkout and tighter controls on refunded tickets at the point of scan. All small changes that make the customer journey feel that bit smoother.

Cleaner Operations for Box Office and Marketing Teams

Time saved by frontline teams is time reinvested in audience-facing work. A lot of Q1's smaller-but-mighty updates aim to save time for teams: better filtering and archiving in Projects, the ability to merge duplicate customer records in Ticketsolve Pay, smarter handling of inactive products in stock searches,  enhancements to the reservation processing workflow, and improvements to how waiting lists work. None are headline-makers, but they're the kind of updates that we hope will give valuable time to the people running your box office and marketing operations every week.

Trust, Compliance, and Audit Trails

For organisations with charitable status, Gift Aid is a board-level concern, and Q1 has seen significant work on the audit trail behind it. Changes to a customer's Gift Aid preference are now tracked across every channel they might happen on, with automated comments capturing the before, after, and effective dates of every change. We've also continued our ongoing accessibility work, with improvements to screen reader support in the booking flow.

Looking Ahead

Q1 is just the start! Ticketsolve updates weekly with new features and improvements, keeping your organisation ahead of the curve, and our roadmap is shaped by your needs. If you want to stay in the loop the full roadmap and our ideas board are the best places to keep up with what's coming soon and to share what you'd like to see next.

If you're new to Ticketsolve and want to see how we partner with theatres, venues, festivals, museums, galleries, visitor attractions and arts organisations across the UK and Ireland, we'd love to show you around.
