Award-winning Festival Nevill Holt Opera had many different systems in place making it very difficult for them to manage their customers as they had databases in each different system and none of the systems were talking to each other. Sound familiar?
Regarded as one of the leading opera festivals in the UK, Nevill Holt Opera’s annual festival features a headline opera production as well as an open-air exhibition of contemporary British sculpture featuring artists such as Marc Quinn, Allen Jones and Peter Randall-Page.
The festival aims to celebrate young British talent and tries to cast young singers, offering them a chance to launch their career. This year the festival experienced lots of changes, one of the most important of which was partnering with Ticketsolve as their ticketing partner. Other exciting updates include the development of their new theatre.
The aim of Nevill Holt Opera was to bring together data for ticketing, membership, fundraising and stakeholder engagement in a single customer view so that their team could implement data-driven decision-making to inform their future practices and strategies.
Like many arts and culture organisations, Nevill Holt Opera had many different systems to manage their festival. It is a familiar story in the arts, where a variety of systems and workflows are cobbled together as and when needed - nothing wrong with that until it just isn’t fit for purpose anymore.
Presenting at TPC this march, their session won the Best Friday Panel Session Award.
So far the move to Ticketsolve has been very successful for Nevill Holt Opera who is seeing over 5,000 tickets sold within the first months of sale for their 2022 festival with the majority of the festival already over 70% capacity.
