Welcome The Old Operating Theatre Museum & Herb Garret
Housed in the attic of the early eighteenth-century church of the old St Thomas’ Hospital, this atmospheric museum offers a unique insight into the history of medicine and surgery.
It is the oldest surviving surgical theatre in Europe, the museum is located in the attic space of the 320 year old church.

Welcome Lullymore Heritage and Discovery Park
Located in Ireland's most famous peatland, the Bog of Allen in West Kildare, Lullymore Heritage is an aware winning park offering a comprehensive insight into the Irish Peatlands and the people living around it.
Lullymore is a rural community intrinsically linked to the Peatlands and for many years was central to the industrial use of peat for briquette making and generating electricity.The Peatlands Exhibition and Biodiversity Boardwalk, a first of its kind in Ireland, tells the story of the Irish midlands raised bogs and the rural communities living beside them. Visitors have an opportunity to discover how peatlands form, the flora and fauna living on them, past uses, future possibilities for the Peatlands and even the gruesome secrets of bog bodies.

Welcome The Princess Theatre & Arts Centre
The Princess, built in 1869 has seen many guises; an old Market House, Town Hall, a Council Chamber and a Fire Station. The Theatre is now owned and run by Burnham on Sea and Highbridge town council and is the only Theatre and Arts Centre in Burnham on Sea.
The Princess Theatre and Arts Centre offers a wide variety entertainment including regular performances of plays, comedy, live music and dance.

The Book of Kells is also home to one of the most beautiful libraries in the world, the breathtaking Long Room. Home to 250,000 of Ireland’s most ancient texts, it has been a working library since 1732.

Welcome the Barn
The Barn deliver an ambitious and diverse year-round programme of performances, screenings, exhibitions, artists’ support programmes, talks, festivals, environmental learning projects and a community-focused programme of workshops, events and children’s activities that attracts around 20,000 visitors each year. Established by the local community in 1994, the Barn has grown to become Aberdeenshire's only multi-arts venue, providing performances, screenings, exhibitions, workshops and events all year round.
The Barn's gallery is located in a converted cattle byre, situated behind the main performance space. It is the only independent contemporary art gallery in Aberdeenshire and is programmed by their volunteer affiliate group, the Barn Gallery Committee, in collaboration with the Barn's director. The gallery showcases a diverse programme of local, national and international artists through exhibitions, residencies, workshops and talks.
