Most Expensive Sports Tickets in the World

Like a lot of things, sports tickets are priced according to supply and demand (along with a host of other variables).
Most professional sports teams use dynamic pricing models that allow teams to flex their pricing according to demand. With that in mind, ever wonder what the most expensive sporting events are? Here are the top ones:
The Masters
- The Masters will cost you $4,500 for four days. Definitely the most exclusive pro golf tournament going.
New York Yankees Suites
- A Yankees Game in the Legends Suite 5 year deal for $1m. In seat services and a luxury box, but they only do long term leases. Still, would be worth it just to avoid the queue for the bathroom.
London Olympics Opening
- 2012 London Olympics Open Ceremony, $2550 for one ticket. The Olympic opening ceremony tickets are always top of the price charts for sports.
Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
- Singapore Grand Prix, $1800 for one ticket. One of the highest priced F1 tickets going. For a little less you can hit the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix for $513, but remember to factor in your travel costs!
Super Bowl
- American Superbowl for $1210. American football is known for it's crazy ticket prices. It does not get crazier than the American Superbowl final.
FIFA World Cup
- FIFA World Cup 2014 final $990 for one ticket. With Germany still celebrating, we doubt their fans minded paying up for the final.
Wimbledon
- Wimbledon final's typically range in the thousands depending on the match in 2013 ticket prices soared to $65,000 for the final featuring Andy Murry and Novak Djovokic.
BCS Championships
- BCS National Championships can run to $632.71 for a single ticket. The BCS Championships are huge in the States for American football fans.
UFC
- UFC tickets can go up to $1000 per ticket. Ultimate Fighting has gained and gained in popularity, which means the tickets have gained and gained in price.
NBA Finals
- NBA Finals Game. Games for American Basketball can command tickets into the thousands for finals matches.
Olympics Hockey
- 2010 Olympic Gold Medal Hockey match went for $3250. Canada playing in Canada may have been the defining factor in the price of these tickets.
Boxing
- Lloyd Mayweather - Canelo Alvarez fight, floor seats $23,500. Don't need to say much more here do I?
What's the most you would pay for sports tickets? Do you think they should be as high as they are?
